Logis Hotel au tambour

The rooms in Building C have been really nicely updated. We had the two rooms on the second floor for our family which was perfect as it felt like our own apartment. Our only complaint would be that every time a room door or the main door open you could hear it, and the stairs are very noisy. But otherwise it was great! The breakfast is good value for money, with fresh croissants and pain au chocolats to your table. The pool was also the perfect temperature, with a nice seating area. It wasn’t too busy due to cloudy weather, so I could see how it would be full on a sunny day. Finally, the hotel is in a quiet location, but there isn’t too much around. The main pedestrian street in the centre is a 15-20 minute walk depending on your pace. Just something to keep in mind if you plan to be in the centre every day.

Location, just a short 20 minute walk to the city for an evening meal and another 10 minutes to the cathedral. Parking in the street by the hotel or secure garage parking (small extra charge) was available. Clean room with good shower and air-con was much appreciated during the recent heatwave. As was a dip in the pool after a long day on the road. Staff friendly at arrival and departure..Breakfast was available but we did not partake.

Fabulous place. Our room was so spacious, quiet, comfortable and superbly equipped. There was a fridge, microwave and kettle in the room with tea and coffee making facilities. The bed was very very comfortable. The bathroom was excellent with a bonus touch of a heated towel rail. There was plenty of on-street parking though we chose to use the garage for a few extra euros. The walk into the city centre was easy, level all the way and no more than 15 mins. Staff were helpful and welcoming. We did not use the pool or sample breakfast as had to get going swiftly the next day. Worth mention that if arriving by car Reims is part of the clean air zone sticker system. We did not realise until after arriving! Would definitely use this hotel again.

I have given the hotel a 10 because it exceeded our expectations, particularly for the price. Staff were very pleasant. Our room was very nice, beds are comfy and the bathroom is great with a hot and powerful shower. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. We liked sitting in the area by the pool (although the pool was closed when we were there). Breakfast was very tasty. We paid extra for private and secure parking and that worked very well. It's easy enough to walk into town but buses and Ubers are also available. We also recommend the nearby La P'tite Cocotte restaurant which seems to be frequented by locals, their cocottes are delicious and not petite.

breakfast was great, small buffet but with everything one likes to se in a hotel breakfast. I specially like the fact that they made sure to check weather we would like croissant or pain au chocolat for breakfast. The rooms were a little on the small side and outdated but clean and kozy. The service was above and beyond what can be expected from a small hotel. The parking was easy and secure. And the hotel itself is three small buildings on a quiet street. We walked into the center of Reims, but it takes about 15 minutes to do so, and the city is big so we ended up taking a bus back to the hotel without any problems.
